Round 1 Immunity Challenge + People’s Choice Winners!
People’s Choice Winners: ala21ddin21, Yina, storm-and-fire
Picking out the winner for this round’s immunity challenge was insanely hard for me and Jay, not least because we got so many great entries. We actually did a mini-scoring exercise to help with the decision, but even with the scores averaged out we discussed, argued, and “debated like lawyers” to whittle down our top 4: storm-and-fire, jubjub, Yina, and Fran. As there was essentially a dead tie between the top 4, we asked Gideon, uber judge extraordinaire, to cast the decisive scores – and Yina came out on top. So Yina will receive immunity for this round’s elimination challenge. Congrats!
And as for the People’s Choice, I guess we were always destined to have people slugging it out for the bonus points:
ala21ddin21 as the 1st place winner (with 42 votes) will receive +5 points to be added to his round 1 elimination challenge score.
Yina as the 2nd place winner (with 38 votes) will receive +4 points to be added to her elimination challenge score.
And, storm-and-fire as the 3rd place winner (with 36 votes) will receive +3 points to be added to her elimination challenge score.
