Grab A Helper

What are Helpers?

Helpers are here to assist you with brainstorming ideas and/or provide objective feedback on your works in progress. Helpers (for the most part) are not involved in the official judging process for elimination challenges, but we believe that they can provide valuable feedback to those in need!

The main thing to keep in mind is to be nice and don’t harass the helpers. If we hear any complaints from helpers about rude behavior, we WILL dock points from your round entry.

If you have specific questions regarding the rules or submission guidelines, please ask Flyin’ or Jay.

Post Questions Here

This page will be available for any participants to ask questions and receive answers from any of our Helper volunteers (and maybe even from Flyin’ or Jay). Do NOT post links to your WIPs here, however – we don’t want the judges to see your walls before round judging officially starts!

  1. Bernouli: aka “Bern” is a senior waller from AP, with an all-around touch with several classic walling styles.
  2. Gideon: Gideon’s another senior waller from AP, and has recently come back from the dead to share her insight into creative walling and taking ideas outside the box.
  3. Kuryuki: Kuryuki, a senior waller who’s been on AP since 2008, is a great bridge between the retired waller generation and the newer generation.
  4. luches: more recently known for his slick monochrome vector walling style, is yet another senior AP waller with great insight on formal vectoring and shading techniques.

Helpers via MSN

Certain Helpers are also available via MSN, and may be contacted when online. Please take advantage of this, and remember to be polite ;)

  1. Mike: sephiroth_099@hotmail.com

  2. Nastya: sorasenpai@gmail.com
A master painter whose wall was recently featured on AP, she is a great source for brushing and tablet style techniques – great opportunity to ask questions from her :) .
